Meet Luke
Luke is a Senior Sales Executive for Montgomery Homes, specialising in Knock Down Rebuilds across Newcastle, the Central Coast and Sydney. As a self-confessed architecture nerd, Luke is passionate about Mid-Century Design. Problem solving in the form of building on tricky sites is Luke’s favourite part of the job, and he receives a great deal of satisfaction from seeing a home come to life after collaborating with clients.
What is your favourite home design and why?
My favourite home design is the Coolum 266 — despite being crafted for a narrow block, it is beautifully proportioned and doesn’t feel like a compromise.
What are some important considerations for someone thinking about a new home build?
My advice is always “the block dictates the house”. Whether it be gradient, views, widths, breezes…. considering how your home will sit lightly on your block and within your suburb is paramount to a successful build. We have 300+ home designs (which can be overwhelming!) — but your Sales Executive will know each one inside out, so don’t be afraid to ask for advice.
What is your favourite display home and why?
I love the Avoca 206 at HomeWorld Leppington. The styling is perfect, and there are nods to Mid-Century Modernism throughout. It feels like home whenever I walk through that beautiful green front door.
Meet Andrew
Andrew is a Montgomery Homes Senior Sales Executive, based predominately at our HomeWorld Central Coast display homes. With over 6 years of experience helping clients across the Central Coast build their dream home, Andrew is knowledgeable when it comes to site specific factors common across this region.
What is your favourite home design and why?
The Broadbeach 260 would be my favourite home design. Separate living spaces for everyone is important to me — this design includes a dedicated kids wing, giving them their own space to rest and rejuvenate.
What are some important considerations for someone thinking about a new home build?
It’s important to consider your family dynamic at the moment, and how that is likely to change in the future. Consider spaces such as number of bathrooms, whether the master suite is on a different level to the rest of the bedrooms and whether indoor-outdoor living is an important element of your lifestyle.
What is your favourite display home and why?
My favourite display home is the Shorehaven 263 at HomeWorld Leppington — it’s like walking into the Tardis. You wouldn’t know it from the facade, but inside there are multiple living areas, an oversized entertaining zone and spacious bedrooms with lots of storage. The foyer is spectacular as well – the open third riser stairs create atmosphere to the space.
Meet Michael
Michael is a Montgomery Homes Sales Executive, based at our Newcastle and Hunter Valley display homes. Taking clients on the new home build journey is Michael’s favourite part of the job — from guiding them through display homes, to recommending home designs that will suit their block of land.
What is your favourite home design and why?
The downhill sloping Carolina home design suite is my favourite — the split-level floorplan really maximises the modern lifestyle. You can choose between the kitchen/living areas on the upper or lower levels, and the mid-level provides a clever work-from-home plus home theatre zone!
What are some important considerations for someone thinking about a new home build?
Ask as many questions as you can in those initial stages of the journey. We are passionate about being transparent with our clients, and if there are things you aren’t sure of — ask your Sales Executive. We want to help you find a home that is going to suit your lifestyle.
What is your favourite display home and why?
The Carolina 1 311 at HomeWorld Thornton would be top of my list. This Carolina has the kitchen/living area on the upper floor — the covered outdoor deck really is ideal for the indoor-outdoor lifestyle. It’s also designed to make the best use of natural light.
Meet Souren
Souren is a Montgomery Homes Sales Executive, based at our stunning Sydney display homes. Souren’s favourite part about working in the home building industry is helping people discover their dream home — taking in to account their budget, preferred location and unique taste. It’s one of life’s most significant milestones, and Souren enjoys the continual opportunity to learn how to best guide his clients.
What is your favourite home design and why?
My favourite home design is the Carolina — particularly because it shows the potential a sloping block has. The Carolina not only maximises on space, but the design has been crafted to take advantage of views on a downhill sloping block. It’s also a really spacious design which I love.
What are some important considerations for someone thinking about a new home build?
It is important to consider factors such as location, budget, design and layout, building regulations, possible resale value, financing and land conditions. My recommendation is to choose a design that fits with your lifestyle and ensure your budget aligns with your needs.
What is your favourite display home and why?
The Trinity 286 at HomeWorld Leppington is my favourite — I love the open living spaces (visitors to this display are always really impressed by this floorplan!). The design is the perfect size, and really works with the blocks that you find in the Leppington area.
Meet Lachlan
Meet Lachlan — a Montgomery Homes Sales Executive based across our Newcastle, Hunter Valley and Central Coast display homes. Lachlan is passionate about working in the building industry — especially being able to help his clients find a home design they love.
What is your favourite home design and why?
The standout for me is the Avoca 245 home design — it has a practical and functional layout and is really versatile for modern living. This cosy floorplan is ideal for country, coastal or city lifestyles!
What are some important considerations for someone thinking about a new home build?
The most important consideration is to select a home design that will maximise the potential of your block. It is ideal to pick a design that will naturally work with the individual specifications of your block — and the flexibility of our floorplans makes this really easy.
What is your favourite display home and why?
The Cayman 287 in New Lambton is my favourite. It’s an ultra-modern design, with a captivating layout that includes a spacious entertainment area. It’s a space you can imagine hosting lavish dinner parties in!
Meet Adrian
Working across our Sydney display homes, meet Adrian — one of Montgomery Homes Sales Executives! Adrian’s favourite part about working in the building industry is the opportunity to meet people — he enjoys getting to know them, understanding what they want in a new home and then helping them bring that dream to life!
What is your favourite home design and why?
The Bellevue range is my favourite — the grand feeling you get when you first walk into the home and the combined family and living space. Specifically, the Bellevue 321 is an excellent design as it can be geared toward a large family, or a smaller family who love having lots of space to entertain.
What are some important considerations for someone thinking about a new home build?
Consider all of the factors that are part of building a home — and weigh up what can be achieved on your block versus what are the ‘must-haves’ in your new home.
What is your favourite display home and why?
I love the HomeWorld Leppington display homes — particularly as they showcase both narrow block designs and wider block designs. If I had to pick one, it would be the Bellevue 321 — the blue and gold combination evokes a royal feel, and ties in nicely with the ‘Blue Lagoon, Hamptons’ theming.
Meet Steve
Working across our Newcastle, Hunter Valley and Central Coast displays — meet Steve, a Montgomery Homes Sales Executive. Steve’s favourite part about working in the home building industry is helping people create a beautiful home that suits their lifestyle — whether that be for the growing family, a sanctuary for retirement or downsizing for empty nesters!
What is your favourite home design and why?
My two favourites are the Cayman 287 and Byron 323 double-storey designs. I love the open-plan kitchen that allows the chef to see everyone who is in the meals/living area as well as outside in the alfresco and backyard area. These two designs also feature multiple living areas for the family — from a lower level guest room, to a spacious master suite, you can create a haven that truly exudes the ‘warm and homely environment’.
What are some important considerations for someone thinking about a new home build?
Designs are all about being as energy-efficient as possible these days. A couple of important considerations are to orient the house so it takes advantage of the winter sun and have a north-facing backyard if possible.
What is your favourite display home and why?
HomeWorld Thornton is my favourite — there is the range of 6 homes (plus a granny flat) to explore, and lots of interior design inspiration as well.
